Vibe Remote help

Vibe Remote for iPhone works with Vibe Console on your Mac. It shows your Mac's projects, terminals and agents on your iPhone, and it needs Vibe Console open on a Mac it is paired with.

What you need

  • An iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
  • A Mac with macOS 15 or later, with Vibe Console open.
  • The agent CLIs you use, installed on the Mac and signed in with your own accounts.

No Mac nearby? Try the demo in Vibe Remote shows a sample Mac. It uses no network and saves nothing.

Turn on iPhone connections

On your Mac, open Vibe Console, go to Settings → Remote and turn on Allow iPhone connections. It stays off until you turn it on.

Pair your iPhone

  1. Connect your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. Pairing needs this once.
  2. On the Mac, choose Pair iPhone… in Settings → Remote. A QR code appears. It works once, for three minutes.
  3. Open Vibe Remote and scan the code. Allow Local Network and Camera access when your iPhone asks.
  4. Both screens show the same 6-digit code. If it matches, click Pair on the Mac.

Away from home

Away from your Mac's network, Vibe Remote connects through Connect from anywhere, end-to-end encrypted: the relay can't read your terminals. It needs:

  • an active Vibe Console Pro subscription;
  • Connect from anywhere turned on in Settings → Remote on the Mac (it is on once iPhone connections are on);
  • your Mac awake, with Vibe Console open;
  • a passcode on your iPhone. Face ID, Touch ID or the passcode confirms it's you before a connection from outside.

With Connect from anywhere on and the Mac on power, the Mac stays awake unless you change it in Settings → General. On battery it sleeps normally.

If it doesn't connect

  • Your Mac is asleep or offline. Vibe Remote can't wake it. Wake the Mac and keep Vibe Console open.
  • It doesn't connect on your Wi-Fi. Check that the Mac is awake, Vibe Console is open and Allow iPhone connections is on.
  • Pairing doesn't finish. Check that the iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi as the Mac and that Vibe Remote may use the Local Network (iPhone Settings app). Then show a new code on the Mac.
  • It doesn't connect away from home. Check the four points under Away from home.
  • Notifications. Vibe Remote sends local notifications while it is running. There are no push notifications, so a phone that has been locked for a long time gets none.

Subscription

One Vibe Console Pro subscription covers Vibe Console on up to 3 Macs and Vibe Remote on up to 3 iPhones. If you subscribed in Vibe Remote, Apple bills it: manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. On a new iPhone, tap Restore Purchases in Settings → Subscription.

Delete your account

To delete your account data on our servers, choose Delete Account… in Settings → Subscription, in Vibe Remote or in Vibe Console on the Mac. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it first.
