Vibe Console is a native macOS app for macOS 15 or later, universal for Apple Silicon and Intel, signed and notarized by Apple.

Install

1. Download the DMG and open it.
2. Drag Vibe Console to the Applications folder.
3. Open it from Applications. macOS asks once because the app was downloaded from the Internet: click Open.

Trial & license

The 14-day free trial starts the first time you open the app, with every feature. After that, a one-time $29 license keeps it running on up to 3 Macs.

Activate

Polar emails your license key after checkout. In the app, open Settings → License, paste the key and press Activate. The app confirms the license online at least once every 30 days.

Move to another Mac

On the old Mac, open Settings → License and press Deactivate on this Mac, then activate the same key on the new one.

Lost your key

Sign in to the Polar customer portal with your checkout email, or write to support@vibeconsole.dev.

When the trial ends

The console window locks until you enter a license key. The notch keeps working either way. Refunds are covered by the 7-day money-back guarantee.

Updating

Choose Check for Updates… in the Vibe Console menu. It opens the download page: download the new DMG and replace the app in Applications. Your settings, projects and license are kept.

Language

Vibe Console is available in 13 languages. Pick one in Settings → General → Language, or choose Follow System to match your Mac.

Privacy & permissions

• Documents folder. If your projects live in Documents, macOS asks whether Vibe Console may access it. Allow it so the file tree, editor and terminals can open those projects.
• Usage rings (optional). To show usage limits, the app may ask “Let Vibe Console read Claude Code’s sign-in?” (or Codex’s, Antigravity’s). Choose Allow or Not now. The sign-in stays on your Mac and is only sent to that provider. Choose which providers are read in Settings → Accounts.

Uninstall

1. To free a license seat, press Deactivate on this Mac in Settings → License first.
2. Quit Vibe Console and drag it from Applications to the Trash.
3. Optionally delete its data:
   • ~/Library/Application Support/VibeConsole (settings, appearance, saved prompts, skill repositories)
   • ~/.frame/workspaces.json (your project list)
   • ~/Library/Preferences/com.vibeconsole.ide.plist (preferences)
   • .frame/saved-prompts.json inside a project folder (that project’s saved prompts)
   • The Keychain item com.vibeconsole.ide.license (the stored license key)
