Vibe Console 1.16 is a ground-up rewrite. The app is now native Swift (SwiftUI + AppKit, with SwiftTerm for terminals), shipped as a universal build that is signed and notarized by Apple. It requires macOS 15 or later.
What's new
- Native Swift app. One app for the window, terminals, file tree, Source Control, Skills, saved prompts, settings and the notch.
- Tabbed code editor. Syntax highlighting, folding, bracket matching and a git gutter. Images, PDFs and video open in a preview.
- Usage rings in the notch. Claude Code and Codex quota rings with reset times and pace, also shown in the terminal toolbar.
- Eight agent CLIs. Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, Cursor CLI, Qwen Code and Kimi Code. Pick one in the sidebar and press Start (⌘K).
- Skills. Install curated skills for Claude Code or Codex, grouped into Token Saver, UI, Brain, Security and Development, or add your own skill repositories.
- Themes and glass. Eight light and dark palettes, Classic, Flat and Soft styles, an optional glass window and your own colors.
Terminals are still at the center: up to 10 per project, in tabs or grids up to 3×3.
